[The camera clicks onto Zechs and Rufus standing outside a run down manor in the middle of <s>nowhere</s> a town named Nibelheim. Everyone there is peering at the ShinRa President, weary that he's here to tell them more bad news.]

[BLAH BLAH BLAH WHAT DOES ZECHS SAY TO SAY "WHAT THE FUCK ARE WE DOING HERE"]

We're here to examine some records that are located in the basement, Zechs. It's actually a miracle that this place is still standing.

[Before Zechs can ask something about the manor, Rufus pushes the rusted gates open and heads inside. Clearly on the plaque it says "ShinRa Mansion".]

[8( WHAT DOES ZECHS ASK.

[Rufus doesn't answer all the inquires. After a few random encounters and Dark Nation getting her feast on a merman that's been hanging from a ceiling by a scythe, Rufus allows her to drag her food upstairs to another bedroom. It looks like a small boys bedroom with books upon books and a few trophies. Rufus pulls back some things to find a hidden alcove with a treasure trove of stuff - even a fencing sword.]

[ AHHH RUFUS MYLOVE, DID YOU FENCE?]

For a brief moment, I believed that swords were too outdated for my tastes.

[You mean you were horrible at it.]

[Rufus finds a key and heads to the otherside of the spooky manor. By then, Dark Nation is chewing on what was a pumpkin head and he opens a secret door. Drawing out his gun, they begin their decent down the really creepy stairwell. They get to the bottom and go down a hallway before passing a room - with several coffins. Zechs peers in, but Rufus is having none of it. He pushes the doors open to reveal a library and a former lab.]

Start destroying all the research, Ze-

[There's a loud "clack" from upstairs and Zechs has a "oh shit" expression on his face. Rufus, on the other hand sounds a little annoyed.]

Why is it that the door locks when I'm down here.

[He pulls out a pen and goes into the other room while Dark Nation sits on a table, eying some pray before she launches herself at a bat. In the other room, there's an open coffin. Rufus has a slow smile before he tells Zechs to get him a pen. When Zechs gets back, he has a marker that looks like it was used to date specimens. Rufus takes the time and draws over a faded one on the coffin.]

We are going to be here for a while, the door can only be opened from the other side.

[WHY DOES HE WORK FOR YOU]

This is just a placekeeper ~ I'm working on a crack AU fic, and I don't want to lose any of my work! So I like, store backups whenever I can.

So, I'm currently replaying FFVII, and I was thinking of keeping a blog on my progress! So this is it. Also, I might be writing Rufus drabbles of where he was or is during the moments. Such as Biggs' comment about "people dying to get this code" when Rufus supplied the codes during Before Crisis. I'll write that ~
